نبذة عن المؤلف (2014)

Pluma Literary Migrant Writers Guild focuses on contemporary migration literature.

Founded on September 14, 2013 in Kuwait, Pluma  is a group of literary writers whose works highlight migration narratives and underscore the manifold influences and diachronic atmosphere of migration literature, with its principal goal of “bridging gaps among cultural societies”.

Pluma is a cross-cultural group that allows the writer to recognise the need to build, against the constraints of a tightly-knit society, an environment of inclusiveness, become staunch advocates of an emphatic world, underline the various facets of intercultural communication, and groundbreak new dimensions in the convergence of individuals in the diaspora.

The guild's name, pluma, was derived from the Filipino term for plume (quill) or pen (writing tool). Its members envisioned an ideal that equally devalues and challenges socio-cultural divides, as well as address ethnic discords.

Moreover, it seeks to dedicate literary prowess to and represent the ordeals of migrants of distinct cultural origins confined in a more current social backdrop.
